Overall Purpose of the Job:
To recruit new students for Capsicum Culinary Studio by applying the institution’s recruitment methodology, conducting effective telephonic engagement, building strong stakeholder relationships, and promoting brand awareness to drive enrolment growth.
Key Performance Areas/Main Outputs and Responsibilities:
Cold Calling & Lead Generation
- Contact existing students to obtain referrals.
- Call parents of current students to enquire about potential sibling enrolment.
- Re-engage inactive students from the college database.
- Contact prospective students to market Capsicum Culinary Studio and promote available programmes.
Telephonic Consultations & Student Engagement
- Initiate telephonic contact with prospective students.
- Introduce and explain the Capsicum brand and philosophy.
- Schedule and conduct telephonic interviews.
- Explain the consultation process and gather student information for database capturing.
- Ask career-specific questions to identify course interests.
- Present and explain course offerings in detail while checking for understanding.
- Address student queries, concerns, and provide accurate programme guidance.
- Advise prospective students regarding acceptance into the institution.
- Build rapport with students throughout the consultation process.
- Communicate important dates, such as application closing deadlines.
Administration & Data Management
- Acquire, update, and accurately capture student details on the internal database.
- Ensure all interactions and follow-ups are recorded and maintained for reporting.
Customer Service & Relationship Building
- Provide excellent customer service to enhance the student experience.
- Maintain positive relationships with prospective students, current students, and their families.
QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS
- Matric / Grade 12 (NQF Level 4).
- Sales qualification (advantageous).
EXPERIENCE
- Minimum 1 year sales experience.
