Valid driver’s license Knowledge and skills: Skills Development Act, Public Services Regulations, Public Services Law, Labor Relations Law, Constitution, National
Qualifications Framework Law, relevant SETA and PSETA, Strategic Framework for HR Development. H R. Public Service Facilitation, Moderation, Report Writing, Analytical, presentation, research, communication skills (verbal and written), computer skills. Certificate of Professional in Education, Training and Occupational Development.
DUTIES: Administration of all scholarships and training. Facilitate scholarship online. Application process. Coordinate the scholarship application process in consultation. with all Provincial Skills Development and Local Skills Development Committees Committee. Address inquiries related to employee and student scholarships.
Management scholarship contract in accordance with the approved scholarship policy. Develop a Standard Operating Procedure on Scholarships. Prepare payments for scholarships. Implement the Annual Cycle of Scholarships. Implement the Annual Operating Plan for Scholarships. Prepare reports on scholarship activities. Facilitate the signing of scholarship contracts by employees. Scholarship roadshows for health facilities and higher education institutions. Provide secretarial services to the Departmental Scholarship Committee. Develop the scholarship policy, facilitate the implementation of the policy, monitor and evaluate the application of the policy and the impact of the scholarships awarded. To ease compilation of Scholarship Priorities in line with the Human Resources Plan, Talent Strategic Plans Management and Career Development. Management and custody of records of records Facilitation of Skills Programs for the department Plan, coordinate and lead the implementation of Skills Programs in the Province. Initiate recruitment, placement of Interns for Integrated Work Learning, Graduates for Work experience. Develop apprenticeship programs to address skills needs. Supervise and evaluate internship programs. Promote integration and professional training Adult education and training. Promote development programs, including internships, apprenticeship and apprenticeship programs, and scholarships. Facilitation of skills development. Participate in the planning, implementation and planning of skills audits. Provide inputs for workplace development. skill plan. Assist in the expression of interest for SETA funding. Assist in the preparation of reports for SETA Manage resources within the unit Implement performance
Management and Development of all supervised officials. Supervise unit staff. Facilitate the filling of vacant funded positions. Compile budget inputs according to MTEF guidelines. Monitor and report on expenses in accordance with the Finance Policies. Management, maintenance and safeguarding of assigned assets. Implement the unit’s risk management plan and prepare reports Establish and maintain relationships with strategic partners involved in the education, training and skills development, higher education, colleges and TVET union sectors.
