We are seeking a skilled and reliable Handyman to join our team in Gauteng. This full-time role involves performing plumbing, electrical, and building maintenance tasks while ensuring all work is completed efficiently, safely, and to the highest quality standards. Key Responsibilities
As a Value Logistics Handyman, you will be required to:
1. Maintenance & Repairs
- Perform plumbing and general building maintenance services.
- Identify faults and carry out effective repairs promptly.
- Ensure building-related tasks are completed within agreed timeframes.
2. Job & Tool Management
- Open and close job cards accurately.
- Maintain and safeguard all tools and equipment issued.
- Compile detailed work reports for tracking and compliance.
3. Procurement & Costing Support
- Obtain and manage quotes for repairs, tools, and materials.
- Assist in budget management for maintenance projects.
4. Supervision & Team Support
- Supervise subordinates and provide task guidance.
- Ensure work quality and adherence to safety standards.
5. Safety & Compliance
- Enforce health and safety regulations at all times.
- Maintain a clean and organized working environment.
Minimum Requirements for Value Logistics Handyman
- Grade 12 (Matric) qualification.
- Proven experience in building maintenance.
- Basic skills in plumbing, electrical work, generator, and fire pump operation.
