BCEA INSPECTOR (X2 POSTS)
SALARY: R269 499 per annum

REQUIREMENTS: Three (3) year relevant NQF6 qualification in Labour Relations, BCOM Law, or LLB. No experience needed. Valid driver’s licence. Knowledge: Departmental policies and procedures, Skills Development Act, Labour Relations Act, Basic Conditions of Employment Act, Unemployment Insurance Act, Unemployment Insurance Contributions Act.
Skills: Facilitation, planning and organizing own work, computing (spreadsheets, PowerPoint, word processing), interpersonal, problem solving, interviewing, analytical, verbal and written communication, and employment equity.
DUTIES: Conduct inspections to ensure compliance with labour laws. Investigate and enforce reported contraventions. Perform regular proactive (Blitz) inspections. Lead advocacy on assigned labour legislation. Assist in drafting inspection plans, reports, and compiling statistics for cases.
